Puddingstone Distillery gains further recognition at The Gin Guide Awards and London Spirits Competition

Small batch gin producer Puddingstone Distillery has been awarded Distillery of the Year 2021 at The Gin Guide Awards after picking up three category wins and a highly commended for the four gins in the Campfire Gin range. They also recently won two gold medals and two silver medals in the 2021 London Spirit Competition. This is a great achievement for the Tring-based nano craft gin distillery, founded by Ben and Kate Marston (pictured above), which first opened its doors in 2016.

Both competitions attract hundreds of entries from around the world and the gins are judged on quality, value, packaging, production methods and style of gin by distinguished gin experts from spirits buyers and mixologists to distillery consultants and spirits writers.

Head Distiller and co-founder Ben Marston says: “After a tough few months these awards reflect the continued pursuit of excellence by our distillery team. We are especially thrilled to have picked up accolades for the navy gin and barrel aged gin, which by nature of their niche audiences are strongly contested gin categories.”

Puddingstone Distillery is open on Friday and Saturday for tastings and bottle sales. The open plan design of the distillery production area and shop means visitors have a backdrop of the gin stills Isabella and Amelia, while tasting and choosing which of the Campfire Gins to take home.
